PTA Information
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back our returning students and families to Edison and also extend a very heartfelt welcome to our new Edison families. I look forward to making 2009-2010 a fun and productive year.
I also would like to say thank you to the PTA board of directors and volunteers. I look forward to working with all of you this school year, some for the first time. I know we will have a great year because of the dedicated and amazing volunteers we have on the PTA.
If you are not on the PTA board, have never volunteered before, or just have questions about PTA and volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact Jill Nowak, our Volunteer Coordinator, or any of our other PTA board members. We will be happy to answer any questions you have. There are numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
The next couple of months will be hectic for all of us. With the return to homework, after-school activities, and sports, the calendars will be full. I would encourage all of you to take the time to check our Web site periodically for useful school and PTA information. We have a lot of things planned for the next couple of months. Some things to keep an eye out for would be the Fall fund raiser, the annual Reflections Contest, Red Ribbon Week and Family Library Night, among others.
